Dag Solhaug Laska and Svein Haakon launched the independent Norwegian fragrance company Son Venïn in 2016. The scents aim to convey emotions, scenarios, and mental images and are inspired by the olfactory recollections of the Scandinavian heritage in collaboration with the most refined and skilled noses of southern France. A perfume can evolve from a pure and simple composition to a more sophisticated olfactory creation through the quest for the greatest elements. Starting with perfumes made of natural components and moving on to paper packaging and glass bottles, the collection is handmade. During the American Art and Olfaction Awards in 2020, Son Venïn's Posthume perfume took home a gold medal in the independent brand category.
