Right of Withdrawal

Right of Withdrawal and Refund Rules

Eligible customers (B2C customers only): Pursuant to Article 3 of the Italian Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal is reserved exclusively for private Consumers.

Refund timing and payment method: The Seller will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of the day on which the Seller was informed of the Customer’s decision to withdraw from the contract. The refund will be made using the same means of payment used by the Customer for the initial transaction, unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise.

Withholding the refund: Pursuant to Article 56(3) of the Italian Consumer Code, the Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been received or until the Customer has provided evidence of having sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

Specific Exceptions and Exclusions

The right of withdrawal is excluded or restricted for the following product categories, as described below with reference to Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code.

Perfumes and Cosmetics, Article 59(e)

The right of withdrawal is excluded for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene or health protection and that have been unsealed after delivery. Accordingly, the perfume must be returned completely intact, in its original packaging, with the cellophane wrapping and security seal intact. Returns of products whose atomiser has been activated or whose cap has been removed will not be accepted.

Personalised Sunglasses or Sunglasses with Prescription Lenses, Article 59(c)

The right of withdrawal is excluded for goods made to the Consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This category includes sunglasses fitted with prescription lenses according to the wearer’s prescription or modified to meet specific requests.

Standard Sunglasses

For non-personalised models, withdrawal is permitted only if the product is returned intact, complete with its original case, cleaning cloth and accessories, and with the original tags and security seals still attached.

Only handling necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product is permitted, such as normally trying on the sunglasses, in the same way as would be allowed in a physical shop.

If handling of the goods reduces their original value, the Seller reserves the right to deduct a proportionate amount from the refund.

Requirements for Valid Proof of Return Shipment

To obtain a refund before the goods are physically received at our warehouse, pursuant to Article 56(3) of the Italian Consumer Code, the Customer must provide valid proof of return shipment. To be considered valid by the store, the documentation submitted must strictly meet the following requirements:

Official document: This must be a paper or digital shipping receipt issued exclusively by an authorised postal operator or express courier. Simple written declarations or photographs of the sealed parcel will not be accepted.

Verifiable shipping details: The document must clearly show the sender’s name, the recipient’s exact address, corresponding to our returns warehouse, and the date on which the parcel was handed over to the carrier.

Active tracking number: The receipt must contain the shipment’s unique tracking number. This number must already be active and trackable through the carrier’s online systems when the notification is submitted.

Integrity of the contents: The Seller reserves the right to suspend the refund or request repayment if, upon opening the returned parcel, the goods are found to be missing, clearly different from those purchased, or handled in breach of the exclusions applicable to sealed products, such as opened perfumes, or personalised products, such as personalised sunglasses.
